Lae o Kaʻena, also known as Kaʻena Point, is the westernmost tip of Oʻahu, Hawaii. It is a sacred and ecologically significant area, home to native plants and endangered species like the Hawaiian monk seal and the Laysan albatross. According to Hawaiian mythology, it is considered a "jumping-off" point for souls departing the earthly realm.
