The story behind this image is quite silly, to be honest. I arrived at the trail late evening and planned to start the hike at 3 am after taking a nap in my car. But, lo and behold, around 1 am, someone began knocking on my window. It was a ranger! In a panic, I explained my intention to capture the sunrise from Wind Tower's peak. Sadly, my explanation fell flat, resulting in a $250 ticket for camping in an undesignated area. Well, at least the hike itself was fantastic, and I was blessed with a breathtaking alpenglow over the Three Sisters. Silly mishaps can't dampen the beauty of nature! #SunriseStruggles #AlpenglowSplendor
