For over a decade, photography has taught me to slow down, notice more and capture nature with intention. Along the way, I’ve developed my skills in composition, light and visual storytelling while exhibiting and selling my work as fine art.​
I created these experiences for people who love photography but never had the opportunity to explore it more deeply. I’ll guide you through the process of photographing nature, from understanding your camera and finding the right composition to working with light and choosing the best perspective.
​The goal is simple: to help you create a meaningful photograph by yourself and give you the knowledge and confidence to continue creating long after the experience is over.
A Private Photography Experience
This is a premium, one on one experience designed around you, your interests and what you want to create. Experiences start from $2,000 and include professional photography equipment, personal guidance, creative photography activities, a disposable camera, an Instax instant camera, professional editing and one 24 × 36 inch fine art print of your photograph.

You’re welcome to bring one additional person along at no additional cost. They can join us and share the adventure with you but will not participate in the full photography experience or receive the included equipment and print.
​
If you would like your companion to fully participate in the experience, you can add them for $500. They will receive their own disposable camera, access to an Instax instant camera, participate in all photography activities and receive one fine art print of their choice after the experience.

I’ll also photograph moments from our adventure so you can focus on creating and enjoying the experience. Afterward, you’ll receive a gallery of photographs capturing our time together and I’ll professionally edit your best photographs.
​
Additional photographs can be professionally printed in a variety of sizes, fine art papers, canvas and other mediums after the experience.
ABOUT YOUR GUIDE
Mike Maciaszek is a landscape photographer and artist based in Calgary, Alberta, shaped by years of exploring the Rocky Mountains.

His work is rooted in slowing down and reconnecting with nature. Through his experiences, he guides people beyond simply taking photos, helping them see differently, feel more and create something meaningful.

Each experience is personal, intentional and designed for all levels. No prior experience needed, just curiosity and a desire to step outside your routine.
