The year 2024 was filled with incredible displays of the Northern Lights. I went on several trips to capture their beauty, and during one of them, I captured this image. I had scouted this location during a previous shoot and had already envisioned this shot in my mind long before taking it. I patiently waited for the right conditions, and eventually, my persistence paid off.

Photographing the Northern Lights is unpredictable; it’s hard to know exactly how they will align in the sky. But I trusted that everything would work out—and it did, perfectly. The lights were vibrant and appeared exactly where I had hoped. It was a night filled with joy and excitement, and I was thrilled to bring the image I had imagined to life.
