I want to introduce you to my handmade wooden frames, individually crafted and designed to add charm to your chosen artwork. The two types of frames that I offer are 5/8" and 1" wide. You can order both types in a size that fits your artwork. Each frame will be one of a kind and 100% made in Canada.
The 5/8" frames are great for smaller-size prints and artworks. If you're looking to add a natural, modern look, a wooden frame is the best and most unique because the grains look different on each board. They are available in black noir, mocha and natural wood.
Western hemlock grows along BC’s coast on both the east and west sides of the Coast Range as well as in the interior wet belt west of the Rocky Mountains. It is a large tree that typically grows 30 to 50 metres and has conspicuously drooping new growth at its top. Western hemlock is used for general construction, roof decking and plywood, as well as for laminating stock and the production of glue-laminated and solid beams. Its strength and stiffness make it a preferred material for horizontal components and longer spans.
Western hemlock is the most plentiful tree species on the coast of BC. It is commonly sold and shipped with amabilis fir under the name Hem-Fir, which has an extremely wide range of uses because it offers good strength, appearance and working qualities.
One-inch frames are more solid, lightweight (1 kg) and work best for bigger images. The one-inch frame, reinforced with wooden pegs at the corners, is handmade and is available in custom sizes. They also come in three colours.
All my frames are stained and come with backing and a hanger. All you need to do is place the artwork on your wall! I also offer to print your personal photos on Fine Art paper! Please send me a message to find out more about the pricing!
Frames come with backing (black foam board) and a hanger.
